Electrical System Overview

Italy has its own Type L plug system alongside European Type C and F outlets. There are two Type L versions (10A and 16A) that aren't compatible with each other, which can be confusing. Most modern Italian outlets accept multiple plug types, but carrying a Type L adapter is recommended for older buildings.
